The Department of Finance, Corvinus University of Budapest and the Game Theory Research Group, Centre for Economic and Regional Studies are organizing the Annual Financial Market Liquidity Conference for the twelfth time. This year, Corvinus University of Budapest hosts the conference both onsite as well as on a virtual conferencing platform allowing for a hybrid and flexible format.

12th Annual Financial Market Liquidity Conference

Budapest, Hungary 11-12th November 2021 

We are organizing the Annual Financial Market Liquidity Conference for the twelfth time, and we have the pleasure to invite distinguished members of academia and professionals to the conference centered around financial market liquidity. This year, Corvinus University of Budapest hosts the conference both onsite as well as on a virtual conferencing platform allowing for a hybrid and flexible format. 

The conference focuses on Market and Funding Liquidity; Liquidity Aspects of Corporate Finance; Liquidity Aspects of Systemic Risk;  Game Theoretic Aspects of Liquidity and Financial Markets;  Global Liquidity (both Public and Private) and Regulations;  Leverage and Macroeconomic Determinants;  Market Microstructure with Emphasis on Liquidity;  Asset Pricing and Management with Illiquid Assets;  Illiquid Alternative Investments and Asset Innovations, Social Innovation, ESG Investments and Sustainability. 

Keynote Speakers                        

For presentations, submit extended abstracts or full papers by filling in the submission form at http://afml.uni-corvinus.hu/ by 11th June 2021. Papers will be reviewed anonymously by at least two members of the Scientific Committee, and authors will be notified of the Program Committee’s decisions by 15th August 2021. Acceptance can be for full presentation or poster presentation for the papers that are very relevant but, due to time constraints, cannot be included in the program.  

Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings, and selected papers presented at the conference will be invited for formal submission and consideration for publication in the following journals: Finance Research LettersJournal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & MoneyJournal of Multinational Financial ManagementRisk ManagementStudies in Economics and Finance

A vidéki Magyarország a pandémia korában – IX. Falukonferencia 2021. szeptember 22-24-én - Felhívás! A rendezvény közös gondolkodásra hívja a kutatókat, gyakorlati szakembereket és a döntéshozókat annak érdekében, hogy a COVID-19 utáni világ fenntartható megoldásokkal épüljön újjá a vidéken élők és ott vállalkozók tartós boldogulása érdekében. A résztvevők előadásai és a panel beszélgetések/viták, valamint a felkért plenáris előadók e cél megvalósulása érdekében mutatják be a vidéki szereplőknek a COVID-19 járvány alatt tett erőfeszítéseit, a pandémia következtében elszenvedett károkat, azok tartósnak bizonyuló hatásait továbbá a post-COVID időszakra előre vetíthető forgatókönyveket, az azok szolgálatába állítható helyi erőforrásokat és fejlesztési eszközöket.

Megjelent a The Hungarian Labour Market 2020 - Szerkesztette: Fazekas Károly, Elek Péter és Hajdu Tamás The Hungarian Labour Market Yearbook series was launched in 2000 by the Institute of Economics, in order to report on the processes and latest trends of the Hungarian labour market and employment policy, and provide an in-depth analysis of a particular subject each year. In compiling the content of each yearbook, the intention of the editorial board is to deliver relevant and useful information on the labour market trends and the legislative and institutional background of employment policy in Hungary, and on the latest findings of Hungarian and international research studies.
